Before using the player for the first time, charge it for least 6 hours by attaching it to a powered USB port on your computer. Do not charge the player for more than 12 continuous hours. To prolong the life of a rechargeable battery, completely discharge ir before fully charging it again. Make sure the HOLD switch is not in the Hold position. Press and hold for 2 seconds to turn the player on. The Main Menu will appear on the screen. Main Menu After turning the player on, a screen appears with a row of icons along the bottom. Each icon represents one of the player's main functions. MUSIC VIDEO FM RADIO PHOTOS TEXT READER VOICE SETUP From the Main Menu, you can select the function you want, depending on the type of media you want to play back. Press or to move right or left in the Main Menu. Press to select a highlighted icon and go to the desired function. NOTE Each function will only display the concerning media files.
