Connecting to your Computer



NOTE: To prevent data loss, always use proper transfer and copying protocols when
you move files between your player and a computer. If the player is not disconnected
propely, it might malfunction. If this happens, reset the player by pressing the and
the button at the same time.

Your player will work with Windows XP through Vista operating systems without any additional drivers. It will come up under your Windows Explorer as a Removable Disk.
All you need to do is drag and drop files!


To connect your player to your computer, follow these steps:
1. Turn the player on
2. Connect the small end of the supplied USB cable to the player
3. Connect the large end of the USB cable to an available USB port on your computer

Two hard drive icons will appear on your My Computer window. One of the will be the
internal memory of the player and the other one will be the Micro-SD card reader. If a
card is not present, clicking this icon will have no effect.

Double-click each one to open up as a new window that will show the contents. You
can copy and delete files just as you would with any writable disk.


Note: With firmware version 1.0 the device can be played while connected to a PC.
1. While connected, press and hold the button for 5 seconds.
2. After the USB and ZVUE Products icons appear, release the button.
3. Operate the player normally.



Ejecting your player
When you are finished copying files to the player, Eject it or Safely Remove it from your computer.

1. Close all the windows that belong to your player.
2. Right-click the icon for the player in the My Computer window. Select Eject or
Remove Safely.

Your ZVUE will exit USB mode and display a list of the files and folders you have copied
to the player. Now you can use your player.
